Having Problems Reading Our Menu Bar? If you are having a problem seeing our Java-enabled menu bar, you are probably having the same issue with other Web pages you visit. To make a long story short, "Java" is a scripting language that Web designers use to make Web sites more interactive and interesting. Java was created by Sun Microsystems initially. Microsoft soon created its own version (actually a "translator" program) called the Microsoft Virtual Machine (VM) in order for Windows users to have compatibility with the Java-scripting. Sun saw this as an infringement on their copyright and, just recently, Microsoft was ordered by a court settlement to discontinue providing a Java translator with Windows. Therefore, when Windows XP was released, the ability to run Java scripted code on your system natively was lost. In order to correct this problem, you must manually load the Microsoft Virtual Machine (VM) engine or another compatible engine that will convert Java script to readable code. While Microsoft is not allowed to distribute their VM engine, you can download it here and install it to fix this issue. Shindai.com does not provide this application, only the link to others who do.
